Where Diana will always be remembered... This "monument", originally called "The Flame of Liberty" is located on a large roundabout named "Alma Marceau", close to the river Seine. Since Diana's car accident in the tunnel underneath, this flame has become a sort of sanctuary for her admirers.

  2. I love to see this monument. In Britain we have virtually nothing like this, which seems ridiculous. There was a contemporary fountain/small stream construction which was so impracticable it had children slipping on its shiny surface so now it cannot be paddled in. It's hopeless here. One day i hope to get to Paris to this monument where i can at last pay my proper respects. Thank you Eric for photographing this. Can you please do it again from a different angle?

  3. Golden, strong, bright in days of rain or sun, pretty and full of the people's best wishes. As the memorial is, so was Diana.
