So your head aches too? Well, no wonder after all this eating and drinking! I found this remain in the glass container down my apartment building, as I was heading to my gym. Moët & Chandon is actually one of my favorite Champagne brands ;-). But wait it's not over yet... I can see New year's eve coming and that means more food and more drinks. Why do we have to associate celebrations with stuffing ourselves?!

Party is over

Wow, and I looking for where I had left my bottle of champagne, and I had left there. ;-)
ReplyDeleteAt my brother's house, haven't eaten Christmas dinner yet. I smell it coming out of the oven, though! I did contribute a French Pinot Noir and some brie.
ReplyDeleteI wonder the same thing, why? Hope your holidays were great. Nice shot too!
ReplyDeleteWe don't have to stuff ourselves. But holidays are a nice excuse.
ReplyDeletePetrea's right—and it's really a treat if you live on hard-boiled eggs and salad most of the time! Best Champagne I ever tasted was a really good bottle of Dom Perignon. Miam.
ReplyDeleteMoet is my favourite too, Eric! Great symbolic photo. I am so full! It is a strange but historic way to celebrate isn't it - to eat. Feasting is ancient and still we are doing it. Even less occasions call for food, a birthday meal, a date... eating, eating...!!
ReplyDeleteGood question, Eric. I don't think we'll ever get the answer, burp (excuse me), to that.
ReplyDeleteAfter this year, I found that I can't stuff myself anymore and feel good, so I didn't! (I lost 27 lbs --12 1/4 kilos -- this year; I REALLY don't want to gain it back.) I did enjoy some sparkling peach juice with Christmas dinner, and it was lovely. It was so good, I may have to get more this week. :) Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas and will have a Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI like the way this one is lit.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Christie! I think I found what you lost!
ReplyDeleteMaybe the champagne thrower-outer got mad because Moet changed "White Star" to "Imperial." I know it confused me.
