Here you go, here is the family picture of the 6th PDP picnic! As always it was great fun. Lots of new faces and lots of nice encounters. More tomorrow with the video (if the camera worked!). Right now, it's time to go to bed ;-) Love you all.

I have to say that my favorite is the young lady in the red skirt..."the hell with the photo, I'm gonna finish the Wine!!!"...and that is what you call "Parisian Style...Quai Side!!!"...LOL!! Like, "Quai, sera, sera...!!"...Ugghhh I know...bad joke, but Michael made me do it...LOL!!!!
Oh, I am laughing so hard I can hardly type!! I was going to say something about going right to the wine source, but the above comments are so funny that I could not top them!
Wish that I could have been in Paris for this... I might have given Mademoiselle Jupe-Rouge a run for her money... Hand it over!
Each year I say I've got to be there and I've missed it again. But voilà, front right, my friends Ibarionex and Cynthia! I'm so glad they made it to the Seine to party with all of you.
What a good-looking group of picknickers! If Mlle Jupe Rouge is with the group, then she has a great sense of humor. If not, then she has a bit of a problem! :~} I see at least one familiar face (hi, Michael!) and a few that are missing (including mine)—maybe next time for all of us who couldn't be there.
I see Sab, and Michael, and Corinne. Bonjour mes amis! But what about Drummond and May? I thought they would be there. Well, I miss them and all of you. Maybe next year? It certainly looks like a good party. Did the Batoux Mouches go by while you were partying? I hope the movie camera was working. I very much want to see the film. I'm watching the 2010 movie while I'm writing this. It is not true that I love rien, but it might be true that I'm Parisien. To prove this, when I called you I was walking from the food store to the wine and cheese store, preparing for my own party on Sunday. Bon appetit and a bientot.
I spent a super time yesterday with lovely people, in the great scenery of the Seine banks, with lots of Bateaux-Mouches passing by us!!! Was there in 2008 too and was lucky enough to meet Jeff, Phx, Guille, Rose, Anissa etc etc, who were not here yesterday but we thought of you (Hi to all of you)!! Great pleasure yesterday to see again a beautiful slim Eric and pleased to speak again with Michael, meet Sab and Jaq and many others. Love PDP :)
A lovely, lovely photo of a wonderful group of people, TWO of whom I've had the pleasure of going photographing with at different times here in Seattle (hello Michael and Ibarionex!!!) I'm so happy to see these lucky PDPers at this year's picnic. Each one of them represents about a hundred others who wish they could have also been with you on the bank of the Seine. Hello Dear Eric and Dear Everyone Else for that matter. We can think of poor Monsieur E. slaving away over a hot video editing desk as we type and read, and wonder what horrors we have mumbled into his mic which are going to make it onto the world wide web tomorrow. I'm already pretty nervous about it. Apart from that, I'll be doing a little featurette interview with Eric on my 'Paris If You Please' blog, complete with a couple of pics from yesterday, so watch out for that! P.S. I don't think the lady in red was actually with us, well, in spirit maybe...
It was a very good year for the Lady in Red....and a very good picnic for the rest of you, judging by the picture! Can't wait to see the film...and join in the fun next year!

Ah...a downward angled-shot! Nice-looking assortment of food--and peeps, too! Is the wine-drinking dame in red a PDPr or a PDP wannabe? =) By the looks of thangs, you all enjoyed yourselves immensely, as it should be. Thanks for sharing some of the memories with us, Eric.
So sorry we couldn't be with you as planned. Sadly, we had to cancel our trip and travel to Scotland instead, due to a family bereavement. Looks like you all had a great time anyway.
Paris is a city made for picnics. A travel photo essay about picnicking in Paris and having lunch on the River Seine. One of the best ways to save money while still enjoying Parisian cuisine is to picnic.
I neglected learning english during my school time. I'm frustrated because I would have like to take part to the picnic. Eric, thank you I have been following your blog for a long time. Christian
