Time flies, it's already September 1st and like every 1st of the month, it's a theme day, among the CityDailyPhoto community. Today's theme day is "people watching" and frankly I really did not know what I was going to post! And then earlier in the month, I took this shot, that I saved for today, so here you go! Like always, have a look at what the other members of the CityDailyPhoto community from all over the world have come up with.
What on earth are these people wtaching?
ReplyDeleteI am sure watching this wonderful head attire!
That is what I was wondering, what is so interesting?
ReplyDeleteGreat theme - very curious to know what these people were watching???
ReplyDeleteStriking photo.
ReplyDeleteAre they watching la parade des champions of the Olympic Games at the Gare du Nord?
ReplyDeleteInteresting photo. And beautiful head wrap!
ReplyDelete@The Beaver. OMG! How did you find out?! Yes, you're right. I did not mention it in my caption on purpose to let you guys guess and you did!
ReplyDeleteInteresting photo for what they are watching seem less essential for us than what they are given to us in this photo.

Nice quote Juliette, it's obvious Montaigne did not know of reality TV!
Ha ha Anonymous! Montaigne did not know tv reality! But still! He did know human relationships.
ReplyDeleteWhat about this one, then :
“Too many people spend money they earned..to buy things they don't want..to impress people that they don't like.”
― Will Rogers
Really accurate to nowadays, don't you think so ?
Wonderful headgear except you'd not want to be standing behind her - if you are short! Like being behind a tall person at the opera!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo, I love it ! My first thought was also : what are they looking at ? Thanks for letting us know Beaver. This lady is so beautiful even from behind, I would love to see her front as well.
ReplyDeleteSo clever, Beaver - were you there, too?
ReplyDeleteEric
ReplyDeleteYou handed me the answer when I saw that the picture was taken recently in the 10 ième arrondissement !
When I saw the depth of the crowd , I thought that it was either May 15th ( FHollande inauguration) or July 14th but the 10th and the phrase -earlier this month - " m'ont mis la puce à l'oreille" :-)
BTW: If you want to see beautiful head wraps , talk a walk near UNESCO or OECD in the 16th or on rue Bosquet in the 7th - near la Francophonie offices.
I agree that you probably would not want to be behind this woman—unless you wanted to snap a shot of her beautiful headgear for your blog!
ReplyDelete@THe Beaver. You are a true Sherlock Holmes LOL!
ReplyDeleteActually I already noticed about the Unesco at avenue Bosquet, but it's not easy to take photos there!
@Alexa. In fact I often take lot of photos that are not exactly what I want to take thinking one day they may come in handy. Hence for today's theme day LOL
