thanks for this wonderful picture. i was just in paris (october 28-november 3) and miss the city so much. i saw the eiffel tower on a cloudy day but never got back to see it at night (during this visit). glad i didn't make a special trip to see the "new" lights.

La photo est belle avec ses couleurs chaudes et son invitation au rêve parisien. Elle vient d'obtenir la clémence d'Eric (quoique involontairement, sans aucun doute) et a gagné quelques heures de plus que ses pairs. Cela va faire des jaloux (ses) ;-)

I'm suffering here... it's serious. I need a fix. I need it bad. Where is Eric? How can I go to bed without a new PDP picture to fill my dreams? I know there are others out there, desperate for a fix (ok and wondering if Eric is ok or has grown tired of us :-(). How do we survive until morning? Will the old pictures be enough until Eric has a chance to post? I hope it is as I must go to bed so I can teach my dear teen angels tomorrow.

Eric, I don't think you have enough to do, so I have an idea: two calendars. One for 2010, favorite photos from 2009. Another, also for 2010, favorite Eiffel Tower photos of all time! I'll bet that would be a big seller!

.Eric--here's a suggestion--was on the 93 bus today thru Neuilly to Puteaux and saw 2 mannikins all dressed in purple suits on a balcony 3 or 4 flts up with a garden table, 2 chairs and a load of bread! Had to double take, they looked so real. They were on the right hand side of the street toward the Bagatelle past Charles deGaulle. Cool!

I have only been to Paris once but I, as I'm sure many people have, fell in love with it! One of my fondest memories was sitting on the bench just beside this merry-go-round watching as the Eiffel Tower sparkled!

Just had to look at this again (and now realize that what I took for last night's full moon is actually a street lamp). That just means that if Eric and I are going to be looking at the same thing, I'll have to come to Paris. Hey, I like that idea even better than the "same moon" one!

That IS another great ET photo, Eric !

As far as I know, the "special lightshow" is run in the evening, every hour, after the "usual" 5 minutes twinkling, so from 8.00pm to 11.00pm. And it lasts 12 minutes.
...but it's only until Dec.,31st.
