Regarding the Copper Cable robbery, it's happening here (San Francisco areas)so join the club. It would cost more money to replace the cables than the cables themself. I hate those thiefs.

I like that the color and curved shape of that purple coat (and the person in it) echo the lights. As I sit near the fire on this chilly night the heater looks good to me! We finally have a touch of snow in Minnesota.

I've only been in Paris in the spring. At the 'gares' I've been through, the platform areas are so large, with a roof, I guess I didn't consider that waiting for a train would be cold. Of course it is, though, in winter.
