Thib, we might as well leave the Christmas decorations up all year. This would have the advantage of only having to put them up once, or at least until the weight of the cobwebs made them fall down of their own accord.

This period of the year reminds me of so many beautiful pictures from last year. I'm often said that I have a good memory. When I love, my memory is even bigger. So the orange tree yes of course. A Calendar is already a little selection of souvenirs. But what I'd like the most would be a real book with Eric's pictures and his comments or feelings about each picture. There is so much to say from his point of view (his angle, his capture, his perspective) in each one. There is so much from himself in each one. As I know he would never do that himself, either because he has not enough time, either because he would restrain himself in confidences, I think the best way would be to interview him and make the work. Without too much emphasize, something sober and light like him. That would be great.
Not to speak about the delight there would be touching the pages and having the book between our hands with the photos printed.
At least, that is what I'd like : printed photos. I know for the geek he might be, that would not sound so interesting, maybe. I'm old-fashioned, lol!
Is that only me? Sure it would be very hard to build up but the result would be so joyful, I guess.
Eric, sorry for this "aparté". You definitely have your word to say, needless to say.
Let's say a Christmas wish (with no precision of the year!), and I still believe to Santa Claus ;)

It is WAY too early for that! We haven't even had the Beaujolais Nouveau celebration yet. I'll celebrate that November 20 on the 50th floor overlooking the city. Then, I suppose I'm starting the Christmas season on November 22nd with Brian Setzer's Orchestra Christmas Extravaganza. A full big band (with stand up bass) and led by Setzer on his Gretsch guitar, playing the hottest versions of Christmas carols you will ever hear. And don't forget his backup singers: the Vixens.

But that's still a few weeks away, so don't push Christmas too soon.

I'm aiming for Thanksgiving (our tailgating prelude to Christmas I suppose ;-) But as you say, the holidays are approaching...time to stock up on the grapejuice. Ahem.
