I agree with the others; this is a cool pic, and not negative. Even tho rain can be a pain sometimes, I like it. I grew up in the midwest where there is a lot of rain, but now live in high desert where it is sometimes too dry.

Today I have a friend visiting from the great state of Colorado {Next year a friend from Nevada}. I am always telling him how wonderful Eric's images are on PDP. So he is visiting the site with me at the moment. Say "Hi" A.

Hello or is it Bonjour. This is a very interesting and artistic website you have Monsieur Eric. I have been to France several times and especially Paris. This is my first visit to Kiki's home and to this website. Your photographs brings back a lot of memories. I would love to take Kiki on trip to Paris. She loves France and has been a francophile since she was a child. What do you think? If I could only get her to say "Oui".

Eric, the photo is really intriguing visually. At first I thought it was the River Seine with street lights in the background. I did not realize it was a wet rainy street scene with cars. Nice reflections. Meric as always.

Alexa - lol. : ) We get torrents of rain here in So Cal sometimes in the winter. But, no Hinuatan for me either. The rest of the year its great. There's been such a long drought lately though that I recently saw a headline on MSNBC that read "Rain Expected in Los Angeles - End of World May Be Coming"!! Somebody had fun writing that headliine!

It's so depressing when the time changes and it gets dark so early—but you made the most of it with this cool shot, Eric. I didn't remember that Paris gets that much rain. But even if it's raining, it's still Paris and still beautiful. However, note to self: Do not move to Hinuatan.

Because I suffer with bad vision and jetlag, my first impression was a picture of a bridge with its lamps at night.... It's not easy being me.
Because I then had to blow the photo up, I was able to see what the Impressionists saw when it came to portraying light---the reflective strokes of light from the headlights on the wet pavement.
Now THAT was moving!

Paris has blessed me -- I didn't realize it was quite that rainy there!

I'm also suffering a little as I get used to the time change -- I much prefer the long days of summer. But any day, no matter how long or rainy, is a good day if I'm in Paris.

It's not so much the 171 days of rain, it's not knowing which days they will be.

I guess that this photo, however cool, won't make it to the calendar.
- Unless of course, you produce an 'Other side of Paris' calendar.
Could be printed on the reverse (other side, get it?) of the PDP calendar.
Just turn it over dependent on your particular mood at the time.
