The hotel offered a wine reception every evening for the guests. I sat with an elderly Russian man and his young wife as well as a middle-aged couple from Ohio. I chatted with the Russian and his wife about Paris. The Ohio man owned a trucking company. His wife said she always wanted to go to Paris and we chided him for never taking her there. We described the beauty of Paris and insisted he take his wife there as soon as possible. She was glowing. I don't know if they ever made the trip.jeffnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11471590.post-44612497121753853062013-05-28T03:23:52.877+02:002013-05-28T03:23:52.877+02:00Great photo! I agonized over what to pack as I didn't want to look like the typical American tourist. It didn't matter what I packed though because all anyone saw was my pants, shoes, rain coat and scarf. It actually hailed one day last week while we were out, thankfully we were on one of the many wonderful city busses at the time. Oh well, the weather was a good excuse to indulge at Cafe Angelina and warm up with their amazing hot chocolate. We're expected 80s here in Ohio this week. Pretty soon we'll see woolly mammoths talking with sabre-tooth tigers. Then it will switch over night to jungle weather and air conditioning.jeffnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11471590.post-41786631814042613762013-05-28T00:45:40.631+02:002013-05-28T00:45:40.631+02:00After the weather you've been having, I'll...After the weather you've been having, I'll bet you love the light!
