Hello Washington

Two days ago I received a very touching e-mail from another Eric who is from Montreal in Québec, Canada and who teaches French at Chrysalis School in Seattle, Washington USA. He wrote "Since I discovered your blog, my pupils and I have a look at your daily picture at the end of each class!". So I thought I would take a photo, just for them! Last evening, I went to rue Washington off the Champs Elysées (8th arrondissement) and took this shot. Just a little something from ParisDailyPhoto to Washington!

  2. Bonjour Seattle! Now we expect to see a comment or two from you here! I didn't even know there was a rue Washington in Paris, so you've helped me learn something new. Trés cool!

  3. Eric, how amazing! I too love your Paris Daily Photo blog and live in Seattle. I not only know of Chrysalis School here in Seattle, I even know a student who attends there. I am a huge fan of Canadian culture, and my favorite Canadian songwriter currently lives in Quebec, Eric the French instructor's home city. It was very thoughtful of you to have photographed Rue Washington for his French language students. I remember walking on on Rue Washington in the 8th, and seeing other streets named for American and presidents and places!

  5. Eric - I will echo what others have already written before me, it was very thoughtful of you to publish a photo just for the Chrysalis School students. And yes, I do hope that they comment once in a while. Un grand bonjour aux élèves de l'école Chrysalis!

  8. Allo a tous, c'est Eric de Seattle, ou plus precisement de Woodinville en banlieu (suburb)

Thank you, for the picture Eric, my student thought it was a hoot to see the school mentioned. Like I told Eric, my students were tired of the "same old same old" pictures of Paris. It is really fun to see Paris through Eric's eyes.
