Walking up...

There is definitely something wrong with Blogger today, I'm really sorry for those of you who have been waiting for their daily fix of Paris (for those of you who are reading this days after March 28, well don't worry, it's all fixed now ;-)! I finally managed to find a workaround and uploaded this photo I took in the 13th arrondissement. I patiently waited for someone to show up in the picture to add a living being in it ;-) I really like it.

  2. This reminds me of a Beatles photo. But oooh it is so gray - wishing Paris some blue sky.

  8. I am in no doubt that in this instance, the street art improves the place.

    Serge Gainsbourg and Bob Dylan?

  9. Wonderful shot! It is Gainsbourg and Dylan, i think- by Jef Aérosol, he usually adds these red arrows to his street portraits.

  10. J'adore ça! I agree with Drummond that this is an example of an improvement via Street Art! I was disappointed when the Banksy film didn't win the Oscar as I do appreciate this as a fine art form when placed appropriately. I also love the jewel tone colors of the cobblestones in the street contrasting all of the black and white and gray. Worth the wait, Eric! Merci.

  11. Cool!! I really like it too!! I actually like urban graffiti..[if it is artistically done like this]and not a bunch of scribbled gang signs like we usually see in San Francisco. Thought of you last night when I rented "Avenue Montaigne" or "Fauteuils d'Orchestre"..a French film with a happy ending... ;-)

  12. Hi Eric - very Abby Road! I have been unable to upload photos from Picassa to Blogger since yesterday - I'm wondering if yours corrected itself?
