An apartment with a view...

Look at this view! Could that be more Parisian?! Well... guess what? This is the view I shot from a close friend's apartment, on Saturday. And if I tell you that a lot of you know him (through the comments box), you are going to start wondering who this lucky guy may be... Well, it's "Nasty GG", aka Jérôme, who just bought this new apartment facing the Sacré Coeur and much more. A lot of sun, 2 balconies, a stunning view... I'm thinking... what a fabulous location for a PDP gathering ;-))

    No Fair!

    Yes, I am envious.

  9. Am I alone in thinking this is an ugly building?

  10. Hmmm, a new location for the PDP picnic, perhaps?!!!

  11. PHX-CDG, I concur! I need to be in Paris, and soon. My heart is aching for it.

  12. I wouldn't mind a view like that. Or a picnic there. Or an apartment exchange. Congratulations, Nasty!

  13. Felicitations, Nasty GG. Haven't seen you for a while. Nice place to live!

Yes, now I think you should host the PDP party if it rains. I won't be there, so your apartment is safe!

  14. I think Eric is onto something here.
Nasty GG -- I'd like to offer you my ex's great Soho apartment in exchange. I'm sure he won't mind a bit—he can either come with me or stay at my place in Brooklyn. What do you say?

  18. Don´t know if it will make my week start a little depressed or if the view will inspire me.

En tout cas, félicitations Nasty GG!!

  19. Eric that's great! We rented the penthouse at number 12 and loved watching the different views as the light changed. I very much want to go back and drink more wine on that terrace!

  20. Thank you all for your congratulations. This has been a tough subject this more than 1 year long home hunting. I spent much more time on Seloger.com than on PDP. Glad it's over ! Now, ready for another fun : the renovation…
@ Eric : the price will be very high for a PDP gathering, considering the huge amount of money you make with your site ! ;o)
@ Tomate, Alexa : Well, why do you think I chose this place, if not to get the opportunity for holidays in SF, Soho and other great places ? ;o)
@ BillyB : Please, remember I am supposed to be the person leaving nasty comments ! You're right though, not one of the most beautiful monuments in Paris, but with the time one gets quiet attached to it. And hearing the bells ringing is just great !

  23. What a dream! I am glad that someone in my vague periphery of PDP folk can call it his own. That is truly marvelous. (Tantalizing shot, Eric.)

  24. Oh my, this is almost an identical view to the one that we have when visiting in Paris! We rent an apartment at 12 Rue Charles Nodier, which looks like might be the building in the foreground. Ah, how I dream to be there right now!
