Bike ride

Traditionally there are many "official" holidays in May in France (1st, 8th Ascension, Pentecost...) and this year a lot of them fall a day or two close to a weekend so that it's easy to take 3 or 4 days off for the price of one! That is precisely why Paris is currently very quiet, as last Thursday was a holiday and a lot of people have made "Le Pont" (the bridge)! I stayed, for I already took some time off recently at the beginning of the month and have to work now (I also have to finish the new design of PDP!). If the weather is nice I may take a little bike ride though...

  1. Just got back from riding my bike to the health club. Check PDP, and there's a bike photo. I didn't know M PDP had a bicycle. Good for you. I've often thought it would be a good way to tour parts of Paris in a leisurely way, but cover more miles than walking.

  3. I like this bike, but it looks from this angle as if the front tire is warped!

Eric, I ride every day! I love it. This weekend I am the "leader" of the Midnight Mystery Ride here in San Francisco. Wish you were here to participate :)

  4. Perfect weather here in the Midwest for a Renaissance Fair and cycling on the trails this weekend. Glad to see Parisians are doing the same. We've got a number of old r.r. lines that have been converted to bicycle trails that seem to go forever. Here's to safe pedaling wherever you may be! BTW...I think Buzzgirl is right...looks like that front wheel would make for difficult maneuvering.

  5. Don't work too hard, Eric. Can't wait to see the new PDP design (not that there's anything wrong with the way it is now ;)

  6. This bike sure looks like a wobbler.

You've just reminded me that I've got a bike in my garage. I might be tempted to dust it off and go for a little spin - if it wouldn't keep on raining.

Re PDP re-design. I suppose we all need a make-over every so often. :-(

  8. Bike riding is fun for our family, but with the bikes getting bigger as the children do, it is more difficult to get them to the bike trails. But it is nice to enjoy a family bike ride, maybe soon!

  9. Thank you for the fantastic article. The place else could anyone get that kind of info in such a perfect means of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I am at the search for such information.
