My beloved Paris!

Everything comes to an end, especially vacation! After a few days in beautiful Marrakesh, I'm back to my beloved home town (I need to vote on Sunday, remember!). The weather is awful, but I'm sure it won't last... And most important: the 2012 best baguette baker has just been chosen! I have to visit his bakery! FYI, this is an ad I photographed on a taxi; it promotes a new 2 page edition dedicated to Paris in Le Figaro daily paper.

  1. J'<3 Paris, aussi. : )

For a load of laughs, check out a clip called My Morning of Ennui: Henri the French Cat. I saw it on a site called jezebel.com. Verrry amusing!!

Can't wait to find out if the best baguette winner is up to Eric's standards!

  2. Who doesn't *heart* Paris? I know, lots of people, but none of them would dare come here.

I like that Citroen Picasso car, although I do prefer Andy Saunders' version.

  9. Ah, Marrakesh—again I have to say lucky you (then again, you live in Paris). I bet you took this shot from a bus riding back into the city from the airport. Normally I'd say it must be hard to come home from vacation, but as noted above . . .
You are going to tell us who is the best baguette baker of 2012, n'est-ce pas?
