Peep show!

This is not the first time I have posted a photo of the statues that can be found outside the beautiful Palais de Tokyo, a palace that was built in 1937 to shelter a modern art museum (actually two, one local and one national, but let's not complicate things!). This time, I tried to find a new angle; I took this photo through the legs of one of the statues, located in the foreground. A sort of modern art peep show in other words!

  1. The things you do to get a new perspective. Have they cleaned up all the graffiti and trash down there???

  2. Nah, not totally, but it's better. The place is really a dump sometimes though.

  4. Like Monet, who kept finding new ways to see water lilies, you are an artist, Eric!

  5. Well done, Eric. Voyeurism in the name of art.

  6. Excellent framing Eric! Every pose in the picture is leaning back to the left. Esthetically very pleasing and culturally expletive. The best I have seen, especially in B/W.

  7. Ooh, La, La, Eric! Very interesting, although if I had read the title first, I would have been hesitant to look!

  8. This is a good opportunity to compare the Cloud Gate in Millennium Park in Chicago. Hint, hint.

  14. I love it! The perspective reminded me instantly of The Graduate.

Mrs. Robinson, you're trying to seduce me...aren't you?"

  15. My first visit to Paris in 2002 was to document as much Art Deco as I could find. I love what you have done here with the "view". Most enjoyable.
