Bye bye Paris!

Ooops I'm late posting... I forgot to activate the scheduling tool and my photo did not publish automatically. Anyway, I left Paris yesterday afternoon but I won't leave you without a daily shot of your favorite city of course ;-) To celebrate here is a typical view: sunset on the Alexandre III bridge. I will be more imaginative tomorrow, but for now I just need to sleep!

  2. A picture of daylight leaving the beautiful city. Or, in other words, a Paris Dayleave Photo.

    1. Merci Mrs Vandertramp. Actually right now it's a bit of a mess. Boston is under siege! I'm afraid to see a Tchetchen knocking at the door any minute!

  6. Bye bye Paris, maybe! But we haven't said bye bye Eric, sooo....... please be careful while staying at Boston !
All I've been hearing relating to the still alive suspect, since 8 o'clock this morning, on the French news, is scary.
Hope this terrible situation won't turn bad again for any Boston inhabitant and tourist. ... Seems that all public transportation, schools, shops have to stay closed until further news.
A special thought to you over there ;)

    1. Merci CN. Actually you're right I had to stay home today because they're still chasing the guy and people were asked to stay inside. I hope they'll catch him soon, as I don't intend to stay in for 4 days LOL!

    2. It seems you've been heard Eric :) ... And I'm glad you'll be able to freely enjoy your holidays now that the second suspect has apparently been arrested.
I'm relieved you are no more in danger !!! Have a nice 4 days staying at Boston (if so) and wherever you'll go to, ... have a lot of pleasure and fun !

  7. Gorgeous gorgeous photograph. Hopefully Eric arrived safely in the USA, however, at this time (9:30am Friday morning) Boston and surrounding towns are in complete lockdown. Praying and hoping this nightmare ends quickly with no more deaths/injuries. Eric, your friend in Connecticut wishes you and your friends/family in Boston area well. Stay safe. Anne

    1. Just woke up to that Anne! Actually I'm pretty far from Watertown where all the action is taking place, but it's a little scary! (Even though I know the media likes to spice up things...)

  8. It must feel a bit weird going on holiday and finding yourself in the very spot that the world's media is focused on.
Stay safe and and have a good holiday.

Thanks for the Paris photo, it reminds me that I shall be in Paris this time next week, hopefully sitting in the sun sipping a cold beer. Well sipping a cold beer at least. ;-)

  9. I admit it must feel really weird and I'm sorry about that. But despite of every terrible thing, we happen to know each day in the world's media, your gorgeous photo witnesses the beauty of a city like Paris, and so many others, where I wish we still could walk for hours in peace. Have a nice holiday and take care... Bonnes vacances.
