Like a cobra in Paris...

Last Sunday the 14th "Traversée de Paris" took place in Paris. I was not there of course, but I took with me in Bangkok a bunch of photos from last year's race (as I generally only publish one single photo per event, I always have extra ones!). So here you go, an old AC Cobra from the 60's. The engine was made by ford and the bodywork by the Brits! And the French love it... Have a fun Sunday everyone and drive carefully ;-)

  1. Look at that nice early '60's Corvette with it's panoramic windshield! Oh, la, la!
These autos are from my college years when cars were cars and looked different from each other, not like the melted marshmallows of the last 30 years.

BTW, the newest Corvette, still showing it's linage, is the hit of the current Auto Show here in chilly Chicago. You can never take the kid out of a guy!

  3. OMG you guys in Pasadena - I'm afraid I lost track of the days. {8^ [
I know that doesn't seem normal, but I haven't been in too much of a normal place for the last several months. I can't believe I'm missing you. Aaarrgghhh. I hope you're having a nice time. Wish I were there…..

  4. I wonder what it would be like to be in the driver’s seat in such a sports car.

Your hopes came true Carrie. We had a marvelous time. Even with the moment of silence we took when we bowed our heads in sadness at the museum café table that was sans a certain Carrie. Maybe next time.
