Paris Belvedere

It may be an Italian word, but we do have a "belvedere" in Paris, that is a very high point from where you can see a 360° panorama. I went there yesterday and it was the perfect day for it, for the sun was really shining. I'm not telling you right know where it is, but I will later this week... Hint: it used to be a previous ice "factory" !

  1. It's a nice place for a view. We have something rather similar.

  2. For some reason, I have a sense that it might be up in the Parc de Belleville. We were only there once, several years ago, but I faintly recollect a viewpoint . . . . did I guess correctly? I'll be curious to see your answer. . .

  5. I really have no idea... but this suspense is quite interesting. You mentioned the 16th in your tags but that may be the rest of another post ?? I searched, googled and found nothing but I guess I was sure I would not find anything ! I also guess I would love to sit on this bench, next to the man with the hat !!
And surprisingly enough, your post made me think of some pictures that can be seen in the official clip of the young singer Indila (dernière danse) that I like a lot... But this is probably totally off the subject.

  6. I love the way the grate echoes the slats in the bench. But that contrail and (especially) the lone man on the bench are what make this shot extra special for me.

  7. I love the grates too, at first I thought they were shadow lines. Bravo!

  10. Je pense que je l'ai trouvée ... Est maintenant, je comprends le commentaire <>. Peut-être on peut le voir si on regarde à travers un miroir Japonais. :D
