Started pouring with rain. Dived into a cafe. Wrought iron tables. Waiter cooks food on grill in centre. Chose a steak based on cost. Small steak in London at the time, about £6. This steak, about £5. Sat there drinking in the atmosphere and rouge, wondering what idiot had ordered what appeared to be a demi-vache (half a cow)that was just being cooked.
