I for one am thrilled to know that Eric cares so much about his fans and that when I finally make it to Paris someday I too will get to hang out with Eric and Michael and anyone else to happens to be in Paris at the time and that my photo will probably end up on PDP whether I want it to or not!!! But here is something to think about:

Do you know what the percentage of pictures showing PDP commenters is on this blog? Well, we've seen the PDP meeting in Paris twice, we've seen one in San Francisco, we've seen Buzzgirl, Monica, and I think someone else, I can't remember who. Oh, and we've seen the Big League bloggers the other day, too. OK, so let's say to make it easy that we've seen 10 bloggers since the beginning of the blog (it's more like 4 or 5, but lets say 10 to make it easy).

Now, the archives on this blog go back to March 2005. You have one NEW picture every day since then, and we're in August 2007. You do the math and figure out what the percentage of PDP bloggers picture really is, but let me tell you, it's really, really, really small, not even 0.01 %, I think.Tomate Farciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12102741033638005250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11471590.post-64494207529834594902007-08-07T02:27:00.000+02:002007-08-07T02:27:00.000+02:00I'm with "anonyme".I'll sign my name Arnaud, but s...I'm with "anonyme".

I'll sign my name Arnaud, but since you don't know me, what difference does it make?

JessicaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11471590.post-24789874109087449732007-08-06T23:36:00.000+02:002007-08-06T23:36:00.000+02:00Hello Eric,This is a lovely photo of Monica (our t...Hello Eric,
This is a lovely photo of Monica (our treasure) and Fabio and Rodin's Thinker. You created an International family with which you communicate with words and through your pictures, and when they visit you or you visit them you kindly take a picture and share it with others. So what is my point?

Monica has been a great fan of every picture and supportive of your blog in general. Never has she said anything uncomplementary about your blog (including the horendous toilet picture) or you. Her visit to Paris was something she looked forward to for a long time and meeting you and painful Michael (just kidding Michael) must have been a heiht in this trip. So what is my point again?

I think Anonyme should let you decide whether this blog has become a Monica blog, after all it still remains yours and you can do what you like with it. We (including anonyme) remain visitors and as such have no reason to lash out at other visitors and commentors; and that is the point that I so painfully was trying to make Eric.

No offence Anonyme.

Graet Picture of Monica and her husband Eric. I'm sure they were the best of guides. I would have commented sooner but I've been two weeks as a host here in the States to 27 Japanese high school students and teachers. Looks like the Paris sunshine smiled upon all of you. Have never been to the Rodin museum gardens but am making plans to bring my wife and daughters one day in the near future. I've always loved the Luxembourg gardens. As for anonymous...well, you can't please everybody. Safe travels on your return to Brazil. I like the plaster mold of "Cathedral" (intertwined hands)because we have a bronze of it here in Minneapolis. It's fun to see the gifts that other artists gave to Rodin: Van Gogh gave a painting as did others. Also, the garden is fabulous for picnics and relaxing. The dozen or so Rodin sculptures outside help.

I think it's fun to see people who we've "met" through PDP. Visitors are an important element of Paris. So many of my photos are of architecture, sculptures, paintings, my friends ask where are the pictures of you? Well, it's good to see people, too, like Monica and Fabio.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11471590.post-82672422373000970412007-08-06T16:49:00.000+02:002007-08-06T16:49:00.000+02:00Of course it is a good a thing, Lynn.
