Didn't partake though, being of the law-abiding persuasion. As an alternative, we wandered in the frozen-food aisles of Monoprix from time to time -- the few degrees' improvement in those aisles helped! It was HOT. I took a very similar photo but didn't get to dip my toes along with everyone else. I was very surprised that day that the Louvre wasn't airconditioned. It was awful inside, very stuffy, crowded and everyone desperately trying to fan themselves for a bit of relief.
