The mini Willy Ronis Tour

Several times, since the beginning of May, have I mentioned a "tour" I took in the 19th arrondissement (remember the "In the footsteps of Willy Ronis photo?"). Well, now is the time to reveal all about it. This tour is made by famous French photographer Jean-Paul Lefret who lives and work in the 19th arrondissement, precisely behind this gate. I really enjoyed the time I spent with him and the other members of the group (including the encounter with Stéphane Kovalsky, the grand son of Willy Ronis, that I photographed here with Jean-Paul). As you can guess, I really recommend this tour (no, I have not been paid to say that!!), not only for the photo opportunities, but also for the atmosphere (BTW, check the photos he took that day, I'm in one of them...). Paris Bike Tour

I found something that will prove useful if you come to Paris and want to discover the city "differently": English speaking organized bike tours. The Fat Tire Bike Tours (that is what they are called) have apparently been going on for 9 years but it's the first time I noticed one of their bikes in the street. I never tried them either, so if anyone had, please give us some feedback. I love the Paris Tips section of their website, it's always fun to see what foreigners are interested in ;)

Authentic Paris

Well, this shot gives you 3 views for 1...A shot of the gates of the Tuileries Gardens, a view of a "not-so-typical" 2CV classic car, and insight to one of the many ways you can tour Paris when you come visit. Place des Vosges

I told you I would pick up a more representative photo of what you can see during Richard Nahem's tours than the one of the Laundramat, so here it is! I took it on La Place des Vosges right after Richard showed us how to get there from the Musée du jeu de Paume (also called Hôtel de Sully) through a secret passage (well secret to me!) . It's quite pleasant to be taken on these Eye Prefer Paris tours and to hear an American teach you new things about your home town! Thanks again Richard.
