5th PDP Picnic

Even though some of you may have seen my unforgettable number in this video, today is the official 5th PDP picnic invitation post. For once it will take place on a Sunday (June 6th) and around lunch time so that we can take advantage of the sun (I'm sure the gods will watch over us!). The location is "as usual" the embankment at the end of rue de l'Amiral Coligny near the Louvre. More on Facebook. I hope a lot of you will be able to attend.

  1. You have no idea (well, maybe you do) how much I would LOVE to be there for the picnic. Maybe the rest of us will do what we did last year, and have our own online! This shot is super, btw.

  2. Wow—still just me? I was going to ask Eric to please keep having pique-niques until I can get there one of these times. Wonder how many others would make that request.

  3. Me, for another one.

That Eric really gets around. Just noticed where Eric’s animated, dancing invitation was done. I guess you gotta grab what time you have wherever you are; be it Barcelona, or even Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo.

  4. Me too, Alexa and Gary. Let me just heave a heavy sigh for the picnic and another one for the photo. I'll heave a third one for the video but it will have a different sort of meaning to it!

  5. Alas, I won't be there, either. And what a sigh-worthy photo you've chosen for the official invite day, Eric. The picnic will sparkle even more than this.

  6. The picture is wonderful but the news is sad: I am not gonna be able to attend this year. I am working all day and nobody can cover for me.
However, if you're still there at 7.30 I will show up but I will miss all the fun...

I vote for another picnic around July, and another around Sept/Oct and another... LOL

    PHX, will you be there?!
I noticed that Rose, Jeff (of course!) would be there. Who else?

  9. Eric I am with the rest of the wonderful PDPers who would like the picnic to wait for us! I am thinking the year 2012. I just purchased the French Rosetta Stone language course & plan on beginning to learn this Summer.
& though she doesn't know it yet, I will be calling Alexa (she lives in NY) to practice speaking French with her when I learn some!
    This photo is breathtaking.

  10. I love PDP and Paris so much, my thoughts will certainly be with all of you. BTW, year 2012 is a good idea - I will be 18 years old then :D
And Eric, what amazing powers you have to take photos like this? :)

  12. Well here's one person who IS going to the picnic.
Looking forward to meeting you Eric but desolate that Guille might not make it. Perhaps we can start a little later or all meet up for a drink afterwards, or something.

Your photo today has the look of an old postcard.

    ET!!!

Who's going? Not I, said the fly.

You may think this is a strange wish, but I hope it rains on June 6th - then you can all meet up in Guille's pub like last year.

  14. If La Reine de Seine does cannot make it to the picnic, in the evening we will invade the Canal St. Martin and quai Jemmape. You think I'm kidding...?

  15. Ooohhhh....sigh....sigh....
I can't make it either this year. I just wish SO much that I could. I would love to meet up with all of you again.
On June 6th I'll be hanging around here all day and wait for the news to tick in.

This photo is just great, Eric.
