Christmas eve...

Yes, it's a ferris wheel, yes it was installed there especially for Christmas, and no, I did not take this photo in Paris, but in Nice, where I'll be spending Christmas with my family... It's so beautiful that I don't resist posting this photo on PDP, even though it's 930 kilometers (578 miles) from Paris! I wish you a very good Christmas eve, if you celebrate it

  5. I, for one, am perfectly happy to see any photo of France that you care to provide. (And perhaps if you get tired of photographing Paris, you will branch out.) This is especially lovely. It is too bad it is only for Christmas. Joyeux Noël, Eric.

    1. I did not know that! That's funny. It makes sense actually I just checked on Wikipedia and the first European one was built by Ferris in Paris for the world exhibition of 1893. Interesting. Merci Stefan et bon noël.
