In the Jardin André Citroën in the 15th arrondissement, you can have a walk in the gardens (I find them pretty disappointing to be honest) but you can also take a trip to the air in a captive balloon that will let you see Paris from a different angle... It can fit 30 adults and take them 150 meters high. More info (in French only, sorry) here.
ReplyDeleteHi Eric. Don't apologize for websites that are only in French. I'm not aware of a lot of US based tourism type websites that bother to translate to other languages. :)
ReplyDeleteThe balloon isn't red but that picture reminds me of the movie that every American child of a certain age has certainly seen.
ReplyDeletejustgrace, most of the US based tourism websites that cater to an European market are almost always available in French, German, Italian and English. US based tourism sites wouldn't get much business operating in Italy if the sites werent' in Italian. LOL, maybe people don't even realise they are US based because they aren't in English. Makes sense to me :)
anonymous- that's why I said "I'm not aware of...." I'm sure they're out there but I haven't seen them. My point was every website can't possibly cater to every language and that Eric shouldn't have to apologize for that.
