2010 PDP Calendar vote
Today it's your turn to work! I already asked you what photos you would picture (ah ah!) on the 2010 PDP calendar, you gave me your choice, but now I need you to narrow it down a little bit (remember, there are 12 months in a calendar ;-). So here is a little survey for you, if you can spare 5 o 10 minutes to answer, then that would be of great help for me. Thank you. [9 AM UPDATE: I'm sorry - VERY sorry - the online survey did not work so I had to switch to Google Forms instead. I've updated the link so if you've answered already and feel like doing ot again, click on "here is a little survey for you" again. If not, I'll understand].

Wonderful collage, Eric! Have you ever seen the Patricia Wells photo-a-day France calendar? You have so many great photos that you could make a PDP photo-a-day calendar!
ReplyDeleteI'm heading for the survey now!
Eric, the links within the survey are not working for me. I can just go back to the dates, but I thought I'd let you know in case there's an easy fix for this.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying the look back back and hope you are as well. :)
Eric, I agree the collage is nice. I went to the survey and the link worked fine for me. Very hard to decide which ones were my favorite. There is something nice about all of them. But, I finally made my 12 choices.
ReplyDeleteI did the survey, as best I could from memory, as the links don't work :(
ReplyDeleteLove this collage!
I did the survey, as best I could from memory, as the links don't work :(
ReplyDeleteLove this collage!
This was fun to do!!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved picking up the photos. Very tough job. Can't wait for it to be on sale!!!!!!
I couldn't access the pictures on the survey, so I just checked my favorites from memory.
ReplyDeleteI also had trouble with the links. Taking the survey was fun!
ReplyDeletePlease, the On s'aime picture ! It's so simple, yet so beautiful and french :)
ReplyDeleteEric, I thought you'd want to know, I think you wanted people to be able to check the survey pix on today's compilation post, but, they're not all there. E.g., 4 Year Anniversary and Inst. de Monde Arabe. If that's not what you intended, sorry (and never mind)!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the survey and the collage. They're awesome. Can't wait to see what you've selected! : )
ReplyDeleteThe links did work for me, but took a while to come up (which happens for me with your blog every day).
ReplyDeleteBut I've checked off my faves, and so hard to choose only only one from the ET choices! Now I'm looking forward to the 2010 calendar! BTW, how do you do the photo collage (is it created in photoshop)??
I've been gone a few days. Bon jour, mes amis. I saw the biggest owl I've ever seen yesterday, and a big porcupine as well.
ReplyDeleteBack to PDP: I loved the line outside the costume shop, and I love everything in Cimitiere Pere Lachaise.
The photo links for the survey do not work for me, either, I'm afraid. You do have some great photos to choose from.
EIFFEL TOWER!
ReplyDeleteEIFFEL TOWER!!
EIFFEL TOWER!!!
EIFFEL TOWER!!!!
EIFFEL TOWER!!!!!
EIFFEL TOWER!!!!!!
and...GUILLE!!!!!!!
Wow - I just saw the photo of the line outside the costume shop!!! I guess its catching on.
ReplyDeleteThis is such fun, can't wait to see the results!
ReplyDeleteSorry about the links I thought I had fixed them. But in fact Freeonline survey does not accept links within answers...
ReplyDeleteThe mosaic shows the photos in order of appearance, so it can help you.
Done ~ that was fun!! Thank you, Eric. I'll be waiting in suspense to hear 'the winners'. Say, if the top 12 isn't clear cut, you could do two different calendars. {Ouch ~ who threw that?}
ReplyDeleteOk: definitely (going across and then down) photo
ReplyDelete2, 3, 4,
1, 2,
1,
4
4
1, 2, 4,
4
That adds up to 12!
Happy choosing Eric. I can't wait to see your final pick.
Very nice from you, Eric!
ReplyDeleteThat's a pleasure sharing time with Pdp.
That's a pleasure being associated to the conception of the 2010 Calendar!
I could do it at anytime for any theme relating to your website :-)
Thank you.
Sorry for the mess about this survey thing.
ReplyDeleteNot only - as Carrie pointed it out - don't all photos shows in the mosaic, but on top of that the Freeonlinesurvey thing turned out not to be free at all!
I'm at work now, so there is nothing I can do for the mosaic, but at least I managed to change the survey link. Thanks for your help, understanding and time!
Ok for me!
ReplyDeleteAs I know all of these pictures by heart, that is easy and fine with me...
Now your turn, everyone!
Done!
ReplyDeleteThat was a difficult choice ;-)
Although tempted to submit multiple survey answers, in the interest of fairness and honesty, I shall submit only one.
ReplyDeleteDecisions..Decisions....Decisions.
So much to choose from.....so little time.....done!
It hurts not to choose all of them.
ReplyDeleteRegards

Did the survey but didn't know the name of The Year of the Turkey in Paris photo and didn't check it. Sorry - I meant to include it because it is one of the best! --Elizabeth
ReplyDeleteDone - again - and still fun! :D
ReplyDeleteThe survey link doesn't work for me. Here are my suggestions:
ReplyDelete- Champs de Mars in the snow
- B&W couple kissing
- Cafe sign foreground / buildings in background.
- Little boy at Paris Plage
- Salami sandwiches
- Statue of naked guy
- Eiffel Tower through window
- Dancing people (that one would make a good July (14th of July) pic.
(you'll need to come up with 4 more. maybe throw in one of the other Eiffel Tower since it's such a popular monument?)
ReplyDeleteI forgot. The picture of the postcard is pretty cool.
ReplyDeleteYou need one with a metro station IMO. I would not use the other selections. (.02) ;)
You have some nice photos there.
ReplyDeleteFrom Cali, I echo you!
ReplyDeleteJust voted again. Fun!
I did the survey again, since your update. But in case I forgot to check off the one of Guille in the gallery—well, I really hope you use that one.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely hard decisions as to only 12 photos! Thanks for always having a great photo every day!
ReplyDeleteYou know you could squeeze in a thirteenth photo by putting one on the cover......Just in case there is a tie.
ReplyDeleteJust redid the survey - this is all turning into alot of work for you!
ReplyDeleteIf you feel like doing all this again next year, I have a suggestion - to select from Nov. 1, 2009 to Oct. 31, 2010, so there are 12 months of your wonderful, wonderful, photos to choose from instead of only ten!
I checked it out again but noticed they were out of sync, so I'll do it later tonight when I have time to look at the dates. It will be a pleasure to look through them all again and be counted!
ReplyDeleteI keep updating the spreadsheet regularly although I think that now the results won't change much.
ReplyDeleteCarrie, you're very right, I did not think of that... Silly me.
A 13th photo Deb? Someone - from Australia with a name starting with I and ending with n just sent me his 23 choices! LOL
I'm two days late but I want to vote... some favs of mine are in that selection... I feel complete silly asking this, but is the order of the photos in the collage and in the list the same? Like reading from left to right? I was tryting to figure out which were my favs and I think I got lost. Sorry. :(
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, I am excited to have come across your blog. Bonne Continuation !!
