Paris withdrawals...

I love the South of France and its colors/smell/old stones... But I also miss Paris! Besides, this week is the ignition of "La rentrée" (back to school) and I don't want to miss that! Paris Plage is currently being dismantled, (some) businesses reopen and, well, the city will come back to "normal" life soon. Time for me to go home and pay a visit to the iron lady!

  1. Lovely words...
    Are you sharing your time between Paris and the South now? We would not know unless you say it. See how curious I am and on top of that I can't help but feeling a bit jealous ;) Well, enjoy your vacation in the South (I am not that selfish)!

    1. So glad you show up here from time to time. PDP wouldn't be the same without your ET, ET, ET! :-)

  5. Can we expect a south-of=France once-in-a-while photo blog?

  6. I love the title by itself ! Several translations were possible. Anyway, have a great fun, especially in the photogenic and nice French riviera !

  7. A marvelous image, and your short commentary sings like an exciting song of expectation and reunion.

    Tonight on TV I happened to catch a film that I so enjoyed: Paris je t'aime. Sigh.....I want to see Paris someday.

  8. A wonderful take on her Eric. Believe me, it's so dead here right now that the "back to school" rush kind of scares me!

    1. I know, I hate the Monday right after the vacation period. When overnight all the cars and people are back!

  10. Lovely photo - the colors are brilliant! I would love to see a photo of YOU while you take some of these wonderful photos with such clever angles. This must be a bit tricky?

    Recently I have tried to take some Tenin-style photos; they didn't turn out so well...

  11. Gorgeous, Eric! Love the effect. When I see a shot of the ET here, I always think, "Oh, I hope Suzy sees this." So glad to see she did. :~}
