Johnny-on-the-spot...

Or rather... IN the spot(light)! For yes ladies and gentleman, this is Johnny Hallyday, a French signer who is extremely popular in France. Sometimes he also appears in movies and that is exactly the reason why I got to photograph him last evening... I went to see Salaud, on t'aime, a movie by Claude Lelouch in which a friend of mine had a small part. It was fun to see all this fuss around a movie and its actors from up close. The photo is a bit fuzzy of course, but I like it, precisely because it is... fuzzy!

It seems Laeticia was next to Johnny, right ? Who else did you see? Congrats on you to be on the spot !!!

  5. I have one of his albums someone brought me from Paris in 1965. I'd like to see him in person when he comes to the Bay Area this month. You are really with the "in" crowd, Eric. LIke the photo.

  7. I will echo the first comment. You are a VIP to all your friends who are lucky to have you coming and supporting them. I am definitely sure you also spent a very good time and I think you have the "free-smart-way of life" I would love to have... In another life, in another name... Full of chic intelligence and wit !
But don't go thinking I am speaking like that because you shot Johnny.... nooooo ! Only because of what you give to see here on your website ! And I perfectly know that it can sound totally foolish to write that. It sounds just arrh how to say it in english... don't know... something that sucks maybe...yes I think this is it... But You may be nice enough not to see it like that... ;)

  8. You are clearly part of "le tout Paris," mon ami! I met Johnny 47 years ago (!) chez Castel (the disco). A sweet memory, because when we were introduced I went to shake his hand—and he kissed me instead. :~)

    1. NOOOOOO I am not. I only went there because of this friend who has this small part. Usually I have the quietest life you can imagine!

47 years ago chez Castel?! Wow, that is something!
