Sunset over Paris

Yesterday evening I saw one of the most stunning sunsets I've ever seen in my life (I'm currently in Rotorua, an amazing site in the Northern part of New Zealand). Of course we don't have such things in Paris, but I also like when the sun goes down on the city. That is why today, I'm offering you a view of the sunset from my office (and before you say it... No, I'm not trying to show you how late I work LOL!).

  1. Amazing sunset. I visited Rotorua only a few months ago. Beautiful place.

  3. You mean you're seeing sunsets more stunning than this?? Wow! This is a stunner of a shot, even if you had to stay late at work to get it. I like the barely-visible buildings in this photo too. Hope you're having a great time in NZ!

  7. WOO HOO! Christie said EIFFEL TOWER!!!

    I'm desperate.

Quite an interesting sunset. I get to see nice ones this time of year on my way home from work. I'm always taking cell phone photos of them! Send me your cell phone number if you want to see one.

  8. My house is my office. I am lazy I can shoot the moon whenever, but this sunset is to use your own word "stunning" and spooky.

  11. Wow, what a stunning shot! It reminds me of a couple of years ago when we saw an blood red moon rise in the evening sky the day before an eclipse.

  17. I don't believe I've ever seen a crisp red sun popping out of such a dark background; like a spot-lit ruby cabochon on velvet.

  18. Wow, Eric! This is super—perhaps this shot was your reward for staying a bit late. Hope you find your way to a computer soon and let us know where and how you are. Trust you're taking lots of pix.
BTW, we have inadvertently done it again—posted more or less the same shot! I love being on your wavelength, mon capitain!

  19. My imagination has it looking like the lefthand side of the face of an orange eyed creature.
It has changed the way I will look at sunsets in the future! I guess that is whar art does!!!
