I I already told you about Gregos, the street artist who glues his face (well a cast of his face, like this one) on a lot of walls of Paris. Well some other street artist found a way to use his work and complete it with his own stickers! I thought it was clever and funny. FYI, the bubble on the right is also related to this, it reads "J'ai failli perdre la tête" (I almost lost my head) which is the equivalent to "I almost lost my mind" in English. Last thing, I too this photo in Montmartre, but I'm sure you already recognized this!

Street artist war!
I I already told you about Gregos, the street artist who glues his face (well a cast of his face, like this one) on a lot of walls of Paris. Well some other street artist found a way to use his work and complete it with his own stickers! I thought it was clever and funny. FYI, the bubble on the right is also related to this, it reads "J'ai failli perdre la tête" (I almost lost my head) which is the equivalent to "I almost lost my mind" in English. DeleteWell it is public art, for the public to do as they please with. I wonder how the head likes its new body and I wonder how the body likes its new head. I'm not sure which got the best deal.

"I almost lost my mind" = "j'ai failli devenir fou"
No need to translate away from the literal, for once! Both senses are possible in the French "perdre la tete", but it's nice to find the option of an idiom where both languages do the same thing and which work so well with the image!
