I don't resist showing you another of these installations they made for La Fiac, the art exhibit I was telling you about a few days ago. This one is on the passerelle Léopold Sedar Senghor, the bridge that goes from Le Louvre to Le Musée d’Orsay. It's made of no less than 193 flags... These flags are the ones of each nation sitting at the UN, only they have been redesigned with "camouflage" motives. The press kit uses a lot of fancy words to describe this art piece by Société Réaliste, but I mostly saw a cool photo set: grey sky, colorful flags and passers by! More on the the Galerie Poggi site.

Nice! It reminds me of those shots we always see of Beverly Hills avenues lined with palm trees. One gets the impression that all of LA looks like that, but it's only a couple of (lovely) streets in Beverly Hills.
ReplyDeleteVery cool. And perfect for that (famous) perspective too! :~}
ReplyDeleteReally too bad I could not read the fancy words using in the kit press ! I have searched and found nothing... ;o( With your own words, it could also be nice but I really do not want to bother you. Your post is already a nice gift. merci.
ReplyDeleteYes I see a cool photo set too. And agree with Alexa. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!!!!!!! The shots of different country flags just like the palm tress and which shows the unity of world as well as the country.
