You've got me turning my head sideways and craning my neck!
ReplyDeleteI had exactly the same response!
DeleteWhen I was a first year photo student we were assigned a problem called "worm's eye." It forced me to not only look at things from a standing height looking straight ahead view, but in many cases, actually lie on my back shooting straight up like Eric did in this shot. I still do it often and am mistaken as having a seizure! A great place to do this is under the "Cloud Gate," or, as it is nicknamed, "the Bean," in Chicago's Millennium Park. Since the sculpture is huge and made of polished reflective steel, it looks like a fun house mirror. Oh, it is so much fun! Next time you visit Chicago, be sure to check out "the bean" as well as the entire park. It is just north of the Art Institute.
DeleteYou make me want to go to Chicago Steverino!
DeleteCool perspective! I wouldn't mind living in one of those little apartments and having breakfast on my balcony. Sigh!
ReplyDeleteMust be nice to have that bit of outdoor space in the Marais, even if it must not have much of a view. (Only just saw yesterday's photo too—super!)
ReplyDeleteI do not know how you can think of taking such original photos! But you do !
ReplyDeleteI like it even if it feels a bit claustrophobic ...! I would love it with a lot of soft sun or also with a good brunch made for me :)
Wonderful photo Eric - as usual. Just watch the English word "backside", which in UK means "fesses". "Rear view" or "rear façade" or just "back" would be safer! : )
ReplyDeleteOoops! Merci V!
