A little moment of rest...

Even though I'm thousands of miles away from Paris at the moment, I still follow the news. You may have heard that our President was caught cheating on his wife a few days ago. And even though the French tend to respect the privacy of people in general - including politicians - this triggered a big turmoil in my homeland. I'm very French in this regard - his love life is none of our concern - I just wish he would dedicate more time to us and less too his flings! Anyway, I thought this nice view that I took somewhere in the 13th arrondissement (I'll tell you more another day) was perfect...

  1. This is a splendid angle to take the shot from, and a good use of reflection. Beautiful shot!

  2. Great photo. I, too, am inclined to agree that one's love life should be private, but for public personalities, anyone is fair game, and as long as the media is besotted with such scandals and the public likes the gossip, it will be like trying to take a bone away from a dog.

    1. And shouldn't politicians make good role models?!

    2. By all means, and their role as leader of their country should take priority while they are in office. The next French election may be evidence of whether the electorate take this into consideration when they vote.

Actually we're amazed at how he manages to attract these beautiful women. Must be a French thing!
