Kite festival

I discovered yesterday morning that there was a kite festival (Paris plane - plane means to glide in French)  in the 12th arrondissement, so I went here. It was interesting, but not captivating, to be honest... and very difficult to photograph. Here is the best I could do (I know this could have been taken in any sky on the planet!). Anyway, have a great Monday, I hope this will be inspirational ;-)

  1. Years ago I visited a friend in Idaho (rest in peace, Diane) and she brought me to a kite festival. There were hundreds of kites in the air. I bought a kite from a woman who made them. I still have it. Today I saw it on a shelf and remembered my friend and the beautiful day of wind, sun, and colorful kites in the air. It's funny that your post on the same day is about kites. -Jeff

  2. It's lovely, the kites flying against the grey sky.
