Yes, I know, it's another of these dawn photos, but I can't help it, when it's sunny in the morning and that I pass by the river banks: I have to stop and take a photo;). I'm not 100% sure what this bridge is - yes you can boo me! -but I'm pretty sure it's Le Pont Neuf. I also realized today I forgot to wish my American visitors a happy Thanksgiving, so let me do it tonight... Have a nice sunny Friday (ours won't be that sunny...)

Beautiful, Eric. You could produce a small book entitled Paris at Dawn with all these. I love the romance of it all.
ReplyDeleteOooh weeeeeee I did it! Yay. Now. To think about my crown....what do you think? lol. I'm excited. I don't mind admitting it.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Lynn GF again! How great!
ReplyDeleteEric, I love sunrise and sunset pictures, you can never post to many. No matter how many you post they are all so beautiful in their own unique way. Thanks for all the lovely pictures.
Dawn... Paris... Bridges... what's not to love?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, romantic shot! I hope someday to visit Paris. Until then, I will continue to check out your wonderful daily photos :-)
ReplyDeleteMarvelous! It is nearly time for me to take the turkey out of the oven and begin the flurry of activities necessary to get Thanksgiving dinner on the table. Thank you for the respite this beautiful shot gave me, Eric, and also thanks for the TDay wishes.
ReplyDeleteTut tut, Eric! ... Yes, it's the Pont Neuf.
ReplyDeleteNow go out and hire 'Les Amants du Pont-Neuf' (d. Leos Carax, 1991), to atone for your sin. (lol)
Bella!! ;D
ReplyDelete[as per usual]
It looks like a postcard just like the so many postcard stands I saw whilest I was there.
BELLA!!!
BELLA!!!
BELLA!!!
<3
I am at a Thanksgiving dinner and wouldn't leave till I went on PDP! A nice bit of Paris to munch on with the Turkey.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo.. I must try to get up early and go out to catch the dawn when I'm in Paris.. It is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you too Eric (not that we are celebrating that down under mind you).
ReplyDeleteI love your dawn photo and the little boat between the bridges too. Have a happy weekend.
Love this dawn pic of the bridge! Makes me miss Paris...I can smell the fresh morning air too in this photo:)
ReplyDeleteEven though the season is past its peak here in Japan it's nice to see Paris coming close to outdoing it all with a few copper flakes of autumn color scintillating the surface of the Seine.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the beautiful photo, and for doing your blog. You've brought a lot of people together.
ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful picture. I love the close up of the bridge and then the buildings in the back ground. I May have to change my screen saver to this photo - currently I have your last sunrise over the seine!
Of course le Pont Neuf. Comment as-tu pu douter? :)
ReplyDeleteReally nice photo...In one hour, we'll see the dawn here, in Paris. God dam it, I've to go to bed!!
Eric, you take my breath away, er, well I mean this photo does! I hope views like this never become common place with you. Thank you for the Thanksgiving greeting as well.
ReplyDeleteMerci for your good wishes for la fête de l’Action de grâce! It was a bit different for me this year, but a very nice day nonetheless! At least we had turkey..LOL!!
ReplyDeleteLe Pont Neuf..isn't that the suicide bridge?? A lovely shot of a lovely bridge nonetheless!
That is a beautiful pic.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen too many dawn pics, so guess I am happy to see this.
I have walked one morning along the Seine and it was beautiful.
Beautiful photo, Eric - you can't take too many of these for me either. I love the four sentinels standing guard as the woman makes her solitary way across to the other side.
ReplyDeletesalut eric. its wonderful.. like christo one day did with his golden cloths.. good weekend
ReplyDeleteThanks Gramma. I think I'll have nine miniature bridges hanging from my crown, each with a little diamond in it (of course. One has to have diamonds, darling).
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this picture I first thought of Pont Neuf. So I guess this is it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful..
Oh! So beautiful. I'm in need of a morning with a perfect moment like that right about now. Hope everyone who celebrates it had a happy Thanksgiving and that you're not still too stuffed to go to work today!
ReplyDeleteStunning shot,Eric. Early morning photograph has a softness to it, doesn't it - so well illustrated by this lovely photograph. I don't care which bridge is it! It's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI am such a sucker for pictures of bridges... and this one makes me go...OMG!
ReplyDeleteEric, don't you just love when people know more about your own place then yourself! lol
Duchess Lynn, keep going, you might catch up with Alexa on the race for the GF crown!
I'm glad I found almost the same picture to show you how Christo and Jeanne-Claude wrapped it in 1985. I love their work.
ReplyDeleteNice one Guille... almost as good as Eric's! ;)
ReplyDeleteI have a picture of me on the bridge when it was wrapped in Christo's cloth! I was vacationing at the time. Little did I know what my future held in terms of visiting Paris .
ReplyDeleteThe "Christo Wrap" is lovely. Thanks for the link, Guille. And thanks for the holiday wishes, M. PDP. This photo proves, once again, tu es le roi du soleil. (And Guille seems to be la reine du la nuit!)
ReplyDeleteOo! Must run. Meeting people downtown. Au revoir, a bientot mes amis.
... big ... is beautiful!
ReplyDeletegood night!
so beautiful...how lucky you are to see this each morning.
ReplyDeleteTres jolie, Eric. Merci.
ReplyDeleteI like the solitary walker crisply shown in the golden mist, just opposite from your point of view. Are you on a bridge as well?
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful blue and gold from Eric!
