It's been raining since the beginning of the afternoon here and, well, I did not really feel like going out (although I have to at the time of posting this photo, to go to a dinner party!) so here is a shot I took during a previous rainy day in Paris (there has been many lately...). I actually think this photo is kinda of funny, more than realy illustrative of the bad weather conditions ;-) I wish you a dry and sunny Sunday everyone (which probably means you live in the Southern hemisphere!)

RAIN, also in Stavanger!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the dinner party and the rest of your weekend.
I did not like the socks and the tattoo, but I give YOU
a big plus for another creative image. You really take your photos ALL OVER PARIS!:)
;-) Merci Gunn! Tes I try to cover all areas in Paris, but it's not always easy !
ReplyDeleteYes Eric I am the lucky one @ the south hemisphere Sydney Australia and we already had some hot days here.. ( not really summer yet) but today agai a beautiful spring warm sunny day... But rain hail or shine I will alway like your pictures from the desired Paris..Merci Eric ...and I know you still enjoy your beautiful city...Salû Kara**
ReplyDeleteCool shot, I always look up to the angles you choose.
ReplyDeleteSexy B&W photo Eric. I bought a pair of little boots today -- I'm gearing up for the winter (and hopefully lots of rain). Here in the US, we have been having a horrible drought. (The drought began in October 2010.)
ReplyDeleteit is suppose to be a rainy afternoon in Connecticut, it is already 20 degrees cooler than yesterday. Eric, were you laying on the ground to take this picture??? just thought I would ask. dont know about you but I love a rainy day when I do not have to go outside.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if this is what the world looks like from a cat or a small dog's point of view?
ReplyDeleteI'm in the northwest of the U.S.A. (Oregon) and we are continuing to have cold nights but gloriously sunny days! Love your photos, Eric. I feel like I take a quick trip to Paris each day I look at them.
ReplyDelete@Lois "Here in the US, we have been having a horrible drought." Yes I saw you had a terrible heat wave in SF recently didn't you?
ReplyDelete@Mrs M. "I wonder if this is what the world looks like from a cat or a small dog's point of view?" I never thought of that, but yes, it's likely to be so ;-)
Cool shoes. It has been cloudy and grey here in the Dallas/Ft Worth, Texas area. We finally have had a few days in the high 50's and low 60's but by the weekend it will be in the low 80's. From summer to winter...no autumn here.
ReplyDeleteWell we have had unbroken sunshine for 4 days here in Easter Scotland - yes sunshine in Scotland. Same foreast for tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThen guess what - we go to Paris, and the forecast is...... rain!
Oops - Eastern Scotland!
ReplyDeleteI just got home from Paris 30 minutes ago, after a lovely week on my own (which I love)! And I adored the rain! I live in the U.S. Great Plains and I can attest that the drought WAS horrible. I spent the whole week in Paris walking everywhere thinking "Look! Free water! From the sky! These people are so lucky!" LOL
