Photo quais

Every two years, in front of the musée du quai Branly, a large open air photo exhibition takes place. It's called "Photoquais", it's free and it's really worth the look. I went there before my departure to Denver and I did not regret it. More than 40 photographers from everywhere but Europe were featured around one and single theme "Look at me"! Tempted? Too late, the exhibition closed on the 17th of November, but you can still see some of the photos on their website.

  1. A beautiful location for it, particularly with the Tower....

  2. O Quais ! I love the photo you took. I love the website of the exhibit too. I really loved the human figures I saw and the voices, words I heard. A very interesting sample. Something that feeds.
The photo makes me feel like if the Tower was moving in the scenery, ... to be part of the exhibit maybe.
I think that if I was a photographer, portraits would be what I'd like the most to take. Sometimes, it is just not easy to look at the camera. The work of the photographer is therefore very important as well as the gift of the one who is photographed.

    1. O quai LOL.

Actually, taking prtraits can be very very hard becasue you must first "tame" the person you want to photograph and like you say, it's not obvious, especially for someone like me!
