Smile!

There are 1 860 mailboxes in Paris and most of them are covered in graffitis (although it is highly prohibited as you can imagine!). Generally these graffitis are pretty ugly but this time this simple smile made me... smile. So I thought I'd share it with you today.

  2. Is it yesterdays' comments that made you smile with such content ?

  3. Quite creative, indeed. Are there still lots of mailboxes like this one in Paris?

  6. This is great Eric. I remember as a little boy, I used to always send letters to my grandma "up north". My mom used to have me say to the letter as I threw it into the mailbox, "Bye bye". It would have been much nicer if the box was smiling back at me.

  7. A "happy" mailbox? Excellent!

Is it because the strike in public transportation is over? ;-)

  8. So sweet!

And yes, a simple smile is the best thing - whether it's from a stranger...or on a mailbox :-)

    Thanks for such a beauty.

  9. Tomate Farcie, meaning we should benefit from a smiling TGV today and a smiling Metro tomorrow ?!!!

  10. Good idea, gg, why not. Let's hope the taggers don't read this blog. I have a feeling the SNCF and RATPA wouldn't find the smiling vehicles very amusing.

  11. This is the sort of shot I try to get, and too often don't! Well done, Eric, and don't tell me where this postbox is, or I'll steal the shot immediately!!
