A terrace with a view

You knew I was fishing for your begging yesterday, when I said the Shangri-La hotel had a stunning view on the Eiffel Tower right!? Of course I was going to post it! So here it is. I took through the door that leads to a little concealed terrace facing the tower. A unique location where I'll try to return this summer. Have a perfect weekend everyone.

  1. Loverly! That's a nice-looking Christmas tree. ;-) When you mentioned the view of ET yesterday, I did wonder so I'm glad you posted this shot. Great weekend to you!

  3. Gasp! You keep us amazed at the many incarnations of the Eiffel Tower that you photograph. This one is especially clever!!!!

My favorite concierge, Jilly-ma, left our hotel for the Shangri-La. I can see why.

  5. Chouette! And you're going to tell me exactly where in the Shangri-La to find this view, n'est-ce pas?

  6. Oh, was that you with the camera looking through my suite? You should have knocked, I'd have let you in. For a few minutes, anyway. !

  7. My oh my....such a pretty view to close my evening. It started with an exceptional big full moon right above the Sugar Loaf, then it turned out not so great, and now, thanks to PDP, it's going to be a perfect wrap. My favourite actually, Paris...

I see the PAJAMAS/PYJAMAS comment has become quite a subject. And now the Pajama Kid won't reveal itself.

This takes me back to the time we all used to think Michael used to post an anonymous comment every now and then just to mess with us!!

  17. Gorgeous shot, Eric! Truly gorgeous.

There must be an Eiffel Tower Suzy Hotel, no? Well, there should be. Every room would have a view of the ET. I'd be the owner and I'd give free rooms to all of Eric's fans. May as well throw Johnny Depp in there somewhere, too, so long as we are dreaming. :)

  27. I was in Paris last week and made a visit to Shangri-La - what a hotel! Magnificant and we were lucky enough to be shown two suites - a large one on the entrance side of the hotel and then the Creme de la Creme - the Shangri-La Suite with a "reach out and touch" view of the Eiffel Tower - amazing!! When I win the lottery, I'm going to rent that suite and invite all of you for a party!!!
