I'm just back from the hospital, I did not think it would take that long and that I would be so spaced out. So for once, let me post a random photo (one that I took three days ago in the Hotel Sully. Beautiful, but I don't have the strength to investigate any further. I'm sure someone will come up with the answer for me;-)
Eric is not on the go go go? Hard to imagine. But please, please, please take it easy so you will heal. It's purely selfish: I need, I want LOTS more photos and commentary. Visualizing you getting well quickly and feeling better than ever. (What! I live in California where we do such things.)
ReplyDeleteThe good point is that you're back home!
ReplyDeleteRepose-toi, et prends soin de toi, mon ami !
I tried to find out something about your beautiful sphinx, but Google let me down. So I'll just say sois sage, mon capitain, and follow doctor's orders. Hope you'll be zipping around on your scooter again very soon!

ReplyDeleteIt is one of the 8 sculptures about the different seasons
Who cares about the photo details at this point? We're all holding our breaths hoping all is going well and that a speedy recovery is to follow. Have some chicken soup and relax. We'll be here.
ReplyDeleteGall bladder + chicken soup = disaster :-)
DeleteHey, I love gesiers in my salad so go figure. Besides, I hear gall bladders taste just like foie gras... ou presque.
DeleteBetween your talented eye & the beauty of France, how could you possibly ever disappoint us dear Eric.
ReplyDeleteI hope by the time you read this you are 100%.
: )
Take a rest, mon ami! You have done so much. You deserve it and it's the thing you must do to get better.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, Eric. Sending good thoughts to you.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy, Eric, the anaesthesia takes a lot longer to wear off than one supposes! It can take weeks! Though with ever-diminishing effects. Take care of yourself, you're an important part of so many peoples' day! (Like mine.)
