How cool is that? Now that they arrested the crazy killer, it's safe to walk down the streets of Paris again! (I'm kidding, because I took this photo right before my departure to Denver - where it's currently snowing! - and there was no crazy killer at that time). Anyway, I took it on the left bank, where they recently closed the traffic for good. The black and white effect is just me ;-)

Welcome to Denver, Eric! I'm so sorry for the snow and cold--and is it cold! It is 18 F a few miles up the road from Denver where I live. First snow and cold blast of the season. It's been a glorious fall in Colorado; wish you'd visited just a few weeks ago! Enjoy your time with us.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great B&W!
Oh yes it was really cold yesterday, I'm talking really cold! But isn't that part of discovering new places?
DeleteFantastic--I'm looking forward to checking out the new traffic-free zone during my next stay. Thanks again for the info.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. It's still in progress, but worth the look.
DeleteLove this photo -- perfect in black & white.
ReplyDeleteFeels like a very moody shot, Eric. Quite elegant in its way.
ReplyDeleteMerci.
DeleteSuper feeling. Makes me think of famous scenes of romantic films and famous replicas.

Both in English and in French :)
Frankly, it's not exactly balmy in Paris either
ReplyDeleteNom I hear it's even very cold!
DeleteI may be wrong but I was wondering if it was not far from you, when you are near the Quai Branly museum? Right?
ReplyDeleteIt's not too far, but it's a long walk, so it all depends on where you start.
DeleteThis is definitely gotta go into the next PDP calendar !
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, the PDP calendar...
DeleteYour shots are always amazing...loving them :)
