I remember very well when I took this photo. I was on my way to work, it was winter, I was cold, but the sunrise was so beautiful that I stopped for a while and took a few shots.
This proves to stop and shoot a photo opportunity when you come across one. This truly combines 3 elements that will not soon repeat, if ever again. Even though I always carry a camera, for some reason or other don't stop to record a memorable moment and lament it forever. Often my "reason" is that I am with a friend, or group of friends. They have no patience waiting for me to investigate the various angles, etc. that I investigate. I easily take 15 to 20 minutes. Taking photos can be a lonely pursuit.
A splendid, evocative shot, Eric.

Gorgeous! I love sunshine. (The cold, I can do without, but the sunshine...ahhh.)
ReplyDeleteHello Steverino! Are you saying that Eric may have realized the "decisive moment"? -Jeff
ReplyDeleteNever laid eyes on a sunrise in Paris! 😀
