A matter of timing

It's not easy to capture a skate boarder in the air! I guess I was lucky (of course having a continuous mode on your camera helps too LOL). I took this photo at Bastille, where skaters gather during weekends. I wish I could do that!

Don't worry Eric. I bet they can't take photos like yours. :)

"I wish I could do that!" Yes, those were the days. I use to skate board when I was young and built of steel. I would never in my life attempt in now.

Great B&W shot Eric. You captured the moment of ahhhhhhh.

Timing is King...do I see a hint of winter in this photo, with the sunlight ?

A fantastic action shot- the monochrome adds to it.

Another great one, Eric. It looks like he's riding the shadow line.

And, the perfect triangle - formed by his arm, parallel to the fence, the shadow line, and his body - keep your eye coming back round and round to your subject. Beautiful!

Great composition. I'd rather be able to do what you do with your camera than what he does with his skateboard!

This is awesome! I love the black and white; it really makes the subject matter stand out! And my first thought is "ow" because I know I would fall if that were ever attempted. LOL
