Scary? Yes, a little bit... But beautiful too - and typical of winter! I took this photo near le Champs de Mars, by the Eiffel tower, where they have little gardens where dogs are accepted - but only on a leash! - as the sign says. As you can see the weather is a little cloudy, but still partly sunny; we've had the warmest new year's night since 1883!

Here in Northern California, USA the winter this year is so mild. It's a bit cold but no rain at all for now. We need the rain badly that I'm tired of watering my plants even in January. Hope the rain will come soon.
ReplyDeleteWeather warmer than usual also in Atlanta and the Southeast. Friday and New Year's Eve it was low 60's (F) and sunny; tomorrow the high will be only in the 30's. Brrrrrrrr! The dogs must wear their coats.
ReplyDeleteThis photo is both stunning and dramatic. It'll be one of my favourites.
ReplyDeleteAnd such a beautiful sign for a message like this - only in Paris !
Yeah the weather is really unusual. We haven't had snow yet, which I don't mind, and I sure hope we wont get any, but since it's a sure sign of global warming, I don't know if it's ok to feel that way -lol
I love it! A beautiful sign to tell you to leash your dog.
ReplyDeleteAs for the weather--it is very strange. We almost had a green Christmas! The weatherman did say we were lacking 28" of snow this year from previous years at this time. Very unusual!
here in Connecticut we had a major snow event making it a white Halloween. Since then it has been unseasonably warmer but today is suppose to get really cold and windy, then "warming" again by weekend back to 40s. very bizarre weather indeed.
ReplyDeleteI like the contrasts in color on today's PDP, Eric always does such a great job.
Brrr, you can almost feel the cold coming off the photo. Very atmospheric!
ReplyDelete@Bettina. No snow yet?!
ReplyDeleteGray skies in photos of Paris make it even more beautiful. Enjoy the warm weather while it lasts.
