I had a walk in a Paris garden yesterday and I noticed that there are already many leaves on the ground. I then saw that many tree leaves were turning yellow everywhere even though it's only August 10! I don't know why, but it's really early in the season - probably a result of the current bad weather. Have a great Sunday.
The weather can and does have an effect; sometimes only in the intensity of the colours.

Your photo is just perfect.
You found a perfect way to tell this seasonal story, Eric.

As Petrea said, you made the point perfectly. Weather here is a bit "off" too—we expected a very hot summer after the Arctic winter we had, but it's barely gone above 80°F (27°C) so far. Hope I'm not speaking too soon. :~}
