Already Fall (Autumn)?!

I had a walk in a Paris garden yesterday and I noticed that there are already many leaves on the ground. I then saw that many tree leaves were turning yellow everywhere even though it's only August 10! I don't know why, but it's really early in the season - probably a result of the current bad weather. Have a great Sunday.

  1. The weather can and does have an effect; sometimes only in the intensity of the colours.

    It could be a harbinger of a bad winter to come, mind you...

  2. “Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall.”

    ― F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby

    Your photo is just perfect.

  3. You found a perfect way to tell this seasonal story, Eric.

  4. You had some rain, but is there a drought like what is occurring in southwest and west U.S.? -Jeff

  5. weird here too. the upper north east of the united states... it's more like september than august....

    how is your finger?????????????????????????????????????

  6. As Petrea said, you made the point perfectly. Weather here is a bit "off" too—we expected a very hot summer after the Arctic winter we had, but it's barely gone above 80°F (27°C) so far. Hope I'm not speaking too soon. :~}
