On the way back from the place where I took yesterday's picture the traffic was so bad that I had to go through the
Place Vendôme (1st arrondissement) and I was lucky enough to come across this scene: a fashion shooting! I could not help hijacking it! I look forward to seeing the final photo in a magazine somewhere. Have a nice week and thank you again for all your nice messages.
very nice picture Eric! is not cold outside ??
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find. I presume it means heaven and hell? I can tell you, it was so cold yesterday it was more like hell than heaven and in those dresses it must have been worse!
ReplyDeleteActually yes it was freezing cold! And I can tell you the shooting did not last very long becasue of that!
ReplyDeleteQuel sens de l'observation. Il ya du Doisneau chez toi.
ReplyDeleteBravo pour tout
This is just a great shot. Especially the girl's expressions. Thanks, Eric!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!xD
ReplyDeleteAprès les photos "cartes postales" tu nous montres encore une autre parcelle de ton talent ... photographe de mode :)
ReplyDeleteTrès belle photo en tout cas
You captured a great fashion moment, Eric :)
ReplyDeletegreat capture!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shot Eric, I love it ! Very clever shot indeed, you are a brillant photographer ! Oh, I love Paris so much ! You see the world through a fantastic lens and makes my life better everyday.
ReplyDeleteThis is just the daily highlight of my miserable existence
God bless you,
And thank you again.
Jenny
Very nice shot. I always love to pause and watch those fashion shoots when I'm in Paris.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great picture. I'm so glad I found your widget!
ReplyDeleteBella
ReplyDeleteL'inferno nero e il paradiso bianco ......
Nice
The hell is black and the eaven is white....
Bella
ReplyDeleteMa allora è proprio vero?
L'inferno è nero e il paradiso bianco ????
So it's true?
The hell is black and the eaven is white ????
Cubeland - It's the first thing I noticed too. Anyone in the US would get that immediately, it's dreadfully un-P.C... What the hell (indeed) where they thinking?
ReplyDeleteThe expression on the girls' face is not quite what you'd expect to see on the cover of Vogue, though :)
ReplyDeletePoor things, though, always shooting Summer dresses in Winter and Winter clothes in the Summer...
Well, if you pay close attention, the white lady, who is dressed in black, holds the "inferno" sign.. Clever contrast with the black lady, who is in turn dressed in white and shows the direction of paradise.. downward! I always thought it was above our heads, but that's ok, I am ready to follow her.. :~)
ReplyDeleteIt's a fabulous shot. In my opinion, one of the very best of Paris Daily Photo. I love photos that tell a story. This one is a great one.
JM-
Well, looking carefully at the picture, I would say the black girl dressed in white hold the paradiso sign. The white girl dressed in black hold the Inferno sign... Not obvious to me at first sight.
ReplyDelete(oh yes, ths picture does tell a story :)
Great picture, as usual !!! Love your blog. Go on !
ReplyDeleteBonjour Éric
ReplyDeleteTon bloque me rends captive!
Moi je vote pour le paradis.
On the road again, je suis dans l'Arkansas, je traverserais la frontière du Texas dans quelques minutes. Dodo à Dallas
A+
The one on the left looks very cold.
ReplyDeleteI didn't even notice the girls' skin colour, but did notice that colour of the dresses were applicable for heaven and hell.
ReplyDeleteAnother great shot Eric...and to quote Sex and the City, me likey!
Julia, so politically correct..
ReplyDeleteEric,
ReplyDeleteI discovered yesterday your blogg...THANK YOU VERY MUCH
Je ferais exacrtement ce gernre de clichés si j'étais à Paris...J'habite dans le sud (très belle région aussi) et j'adore la photo qui a son histoire.
Great blog Eric, I'll be a regular. BTW, thanks for your comment re. Bloggies.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much Eric !!! You make me dream : I enjoy Paris and I enjoy photos and taking photos.
