Fireworks by the Sacré Coeur

This Saturday was not just any day on Montmartre, it was the Vendanges, the day they harvest the grapes that still grow on one small piece of land on "the Mont"! To celebrate they have a parade and... fireworks. Fireworks that I had the pleasure - and the luck - to see from the apartment of my dear friends who have a direct view on the Sacré Coeur. Yes, it was breath taking!

    Lucky you! I took a picture of those grapes just a few weeks ago—wish I could have been there for the vendanges too!
