I like the strong contrast between the washed out background and the correctly exposed traffic light. There is also a nice dynamic happening between the roundness of the building and the square traffic light.

I am relieved to see that traffic signals are universal. I am still practicing my French but the pronunciation is still tripping me up. I am listening to lots of Edith Piaf and Gerald DePalmas.
