this picture is spectacular! It may be my favorite yet of the tower!~Melanie
When I was there a few weeks ago, she had her head in the mist... She is so elusive and I love this night shot, Eric!Bises,Genie

Only one word to add... WOW!!!Mammie
Maybe two more... THANK YOU!!Mammie
Once again I'm reminded of the book of woodblock prints of "The Thirty-six Views of the Eiffel Tower" by Henri Riviére, 1902. Here is the link: http://www.artsmia.org/bonjour-japon/ The location of the view in each print is labeled.Fun project with all your spare time? (Hah!) Try to recreate Riviére's views with photos. You may be able to publish it.
By the way, you've been taking and sharing really great photos lately, really showing Paris in all her beauty.
Beautiful! A golden gem. Thanks! Thanks Jeff for the link!
So lovely. I wish I could smell it, hear it, touch it, wear it! But thanks to you, at least I can see it!
Lovely photo, Eric.
What Mammie said. And, no, not much to add—this one speaks for itself!

all i have to add is a sigh.

Great photo Eric, what happens when the top of 'la tour' is shrouded in cloud? I presume it's closed to the public?Dermo
Gorgeous photo Eric! Thanks for such spectacular pictures!
As my office is on the left bank, between Pont Mirabeau and Pont de Grenelle (i.e. just a few hundred meters from were you took this photo, Eric !), this is the view I have every evening when I drive back home...... but I've never been able to take such a great shot !!!
Paris is simply beautiful.
Absolutely wonderful.Wish I was there there to smell the air and hear the sounds
@Thib " this is the view I have every evening when I drive back home...... but I've never been able to take such a great shot !!!"N'importe quoi !!
Pourquoi "n'importe quoi" ? ;-)Le problème, c'est qu'en voiture, je ne peux pas m'arrêter, alors mes tentatives de photos sont toutes floues !!!
So, so gorgeous!
This is incredible, Eric. If I passed this on my way home from work, I'd burst into tears each evening.
I'm with you, Suzy. Absolutely lovely.
@Thib, parce que je suis sûr que tu peux faire la même !@ET Suzy LOL (sorry, I could not help it!) You know, the sad part is that you get used to it...
@Keats. The music is by Oren Hadar it's called 42 dollars. I love it!@Dermo. "what happens when the top of 'la tour' is shrouded in cloud? I" Interesting question... To which I don't have the answer!
