It's been a while since I've shown you a night shot. So here is one, that I took yesterday evening from the pont d'Iéna, right by the Eiffel Tower. The bridge in the background is the Passerelle Debilly, the one where I took this shot, that the most romantic of you probably still remember...
This is a BEAUTIFUL photograph - I love it! Your night photography is incredible. Please Zazzle it in some way. I also had fun reminiscing about your famous photo from 2008 -that was such a sweet story.
ReplyDeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking!!
Superfanasticalistic!!!
In case I'm being vague....I love it.
Absolutely beautiful. The colors are very romantic indeed....well, what else to expect from that gorgeous city, no?
ReplyDeleteGreat shot
This is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love night shots...of course, Paris IS the City of Lights, so it makes sense!
Very cool night shot!
ReplyDeleteOoooohhhhh.....
ReplyDeleteAaahhhhh.....
****sigh****
Yep, it's gorgeous. You can almost feel the cool breeze against your cheek as you look out over that view.
So beautiful. I sighed, too. The water looks bright and a bit choppy, as if to move the night along at a perfect pace.
ReplyDeleteI guessed (correctly) immediately which shot you were linking to. One of my favorite stories and photos!
@Lydia "I guessed (correctly) immediately which shot you were linking to. One of my favorite stories and photos!" ;-))

@Anonymous "great shot as usual :)
ReplyDeletewhat camera are you using?" Not a fancy one, believe me, it's time for a change! It's a Samsung reflex.
That is truly a cool night shot! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteSorry if my comment is harsh, but...
ReplyDeleteThe picture looks nice in small size, but in full size it has almost every defect a night picture can have: it is noisy, unsharp, has purple fringes on every light and a lens flare right in the middle.
Too bad, because you were there at the perfect time (blue hour) and the point of view is nice.
@France in photos. "The picture looks nice in small size, but in full size it has almost every defect a night picture can have: it is noisy, unsharp, has purple fringes on every light and a lens flare right in the middle." I agree! But like you said, in small size I thought it was still worth showing. I would not print it though.
